The Countless Sounds Heard in a day As a harmonyian, I always related to sounds in terms of musical application. Well . . . actually, as a traveling musician, any troubling sounds my car made were some as important. The only other sound I appreciated was tranquillise - some subject I valued after six nights of rhythmic and melodic intensiveness and the dabble of three hundred or so party drunks. Since Ive colonised piling and become a family man, how constantly, I have discovered a social unit new orb of sounds that give me more pleasure than music ever did. Something I neer thought possible. I would like to disembowel for you the world of sound that I experience in a representative day. My dayspring always begins around seven oclock when I am rouse by a sweet, gentle, little voice calling . . . DADDY, I GO FRIDE T his is followed by a dainty smack of tiny lips on my cheek, thence other smack of Moms lips on my lips. A few minutes later, the motion brink slams shut and I slip back into a slumber. The future(a) thing I hear (a few hours later) is the bloodcurdling, screaming caw of a pterodactyl about(predicate) to swoop down and pluck me right out of my bed. Actually, its only my scandalize clock. I dont dare hit the snooze button, as I do not even want to hear that again. From here, my morning religious rite begins, fat with the sounds of water the galoosh of the toilet, the soft spattering of the waste, and the gurgle of coffee create from raw material in the kitchen. Its the coffee maker that occurly captivates me, for I cannot begin to righteousness mentally until Ive had my cup of go juice. Ill sit in a total haze until that gurgling stops - my cue that its ready. Before that, noting else matters. After a imbibe or two, I step under the whispering water of the shower a nd, if never fails, the phone rings. At least, I think it is ringing. Actually, it is just a baffling overtone, an aural hallucination that is produced by the shower. The Countless Sounds Heard in a Day Personal Narrative EssaysThe Countless Sounds Heard in a Day As a musician, I always related to sounds in terms of musical application.
